Okay, so I missed yesterday's post--but I had a perfectly valid reason!
I knew something was wrong the moment I woke up--head was throbbing, nose blocked; yeah, classic symptoms of the flu. I still dragged myself to Uni, though only to find the lecturer NOT present.
That genius moved the lecture venue without informing us beforehand. Thank God the second lecture was much more bearable, bearing in mind my nose was a running waterpipe and my head was throbbing.
PBL did not help either--the group was quiet as usual, and the facilitator expected a lot from us, which was not such a bad thing if my brains were in working condition to begin with. PBLs are always stressful.
Let's assume my day ended there--I spent most of the time sleeping, if not killing the forests by using too much tissues.
Thankfully I felt much better this morning-- the first lecture was conducted by 2 of my favourite lecturers, so it wasn't that bad. The second lecture, however absolutely marked off "cardiologist" from the list of my possible future specializations--but then again the lecturer wasn't THAT good to begin with, so I guess that's that.
Everything else was as usual.
I need a change of pace, stat.
