Okay so maybe it wasn't pouring this morning, but I can't be too sure since I woke up rather late anyway. Well, the first thing I did was of course to check on my Facebook--it's getting increasingly indispensable, as the days go by, I swear. Having said that, however, I realized that I did have some unfinished assignments (darn the PBL) and so I spent about an hour or so researching on it. Animeslut came back around then with her parents (attended a wedding); father spent the whole time installing a peeping hole on her door. (When asked what is the purpose of the hole considering there's only the 3 of us at home, she replied something around the lines of "just in case the robbers come in and tie the both of you up then i'll know". I didn't question further.)
Meanwhile at 12pm, I had my first meal of the day.
Breakfast was somewhat ordinary, but considering how I usually skip my breakfasts it's amazing I actually decided to have one today. Crackers and grapes with a muffin. Hardly filling for someone who had not had anything for the past 16+ hours, but then again I am known to survive without food for long periods of time so I'm fine. The muffins were especially good (courtesy of the wedding)
Spent the subsequent hour or two drawing a mindmap for my case study group, which was somewhat fun--I haven't done anything even remotely related to arts (drawing in class doesn't count) for a long time, so this was a refreshing change of pace. The fact that I spent way too long on this particular activity was besides the
point.
It started raining a little while after that. I love rainy days--it gets me all emo and stuff.
So I waited under the trees downstairs while it was raining for the bus (that takes me to church) to arrive--it did a little while later, thankfully, 'cause really, no one wants to go to church soaking wet.
I actually enjoyed church today, but that's not really surprising since this church never failed to amaze me with powerful messages week after week (this week was good, cuz I had a bad week)--of course, the free dinner (which was some rice with rendang: yummy) was a huge plus as well. That's one less burden on my wallet. But let's not let them know that.
Came home after that on the bus. Strangely, I feel somewhat tired today--and I didn't even do much! Oh well. Back to PBL research again; that's the life of a medstudent, after all.
Oh joy.
