TOUGHSTUFF: I KID YOU NOT!

Been a crazy past few days, life. Got an MPV rolling over my feet and the electricity supply cut all on the same day, and at the same time arrived too early for classes (that, too can be bad).

Friday was meh as usual, save for the fact that I volunteered myself to help out at the church HQs, and now I truly dread sticking stamps to envelopes after doing so for about a thousand times.

Saturday was Koreanslut's birthday--had a great dinner that reminded me somehow of char koay teow--minus the annoying koay teow, of course. And beansprouts. And cockles. You get the idea. But it was good; and ultimately that was all that mattered. I couldn't, however, for the love of me, remember the name of the particular dish/meal, except that it was on this huge hotplate. Karaoke was next on the programme, and it was fun, though it didn't end there.

And for the third consecutive week, we drank again.

I was (thankfully) much less hung-over for church, but since it was a morning service and I attended an award ceremony right after that I was pretty much in a comatose state by the time I hit home. Figuratively, of course. God knows how this world would survive without me.

*ahem*

Which leads us to today. Came into class too early again today, but otherwise everything was pretty smooth-sailing; I even got to present for my Case Study presentation my team and I worked our asses off for.

Went for lunch (in an insanely overpriced restaurant) and a movie in MV right after class, and I met up with Darren and Michelle thereafter (childhood friends from across the seas)--I must say they do look so much different from the last time I saw them. Did a little shopping and dinnering for a while, and that was about it.

And that's almost a week crammed in a single post. Congratulate me.
