TOUGHSTUFF: I KID YOU NOT!

These days life has been so uninspiring I'm actually running out of adjectives to even describe it, what more write a blogpost about it. If this is an indication of things to come, let's just say I could fill up the post everyday for the remainder of the year with "same ol', same ol'" and it would probably be apt (or at least be a fair description) all through.

But inspiration comes at the most unexpected of times, such like 1 in the morning after a late night (early morning?)snack. Housemates make life so much more bearable, and conversations are never a routine but very much a matter of spontaneity, as does cheap laughs at the expense of unknowning classmates (or fairly commonly, members of our own circle).

Complains are oft along the lines of unneeded lectures "if they tell me again to wash my hands another time in the lectures, I'm gonna DROP DEAD" or anatomically incorrect jokes, involving an ungodly amount of crass made-up maladies "p**sytitis". Occasionally jokes are directed at the lecturers themselves, but most of them involves me performing lewd acts with asthethically-challenged lecturers, something I have learnt to live by. Complaints are aplenty, too, which is rather natural, considering the paradoxial nature of medical textbooks "MARIEB IS SUCH A LIAR!" and the glut of information "ZOMG STAPH AUREUS CAUSES LIKE, EVERYTHING!!", even about friends "KOREANSLUT IS LIKE THE FEMALE VERSION OF FATSLUT!(sorry inside joke here)".

All in good spirit, of course. In all sense, if you get what I mean.

As for lectures today, well, I have just about enough of disease prevention and washing hands--at this rate we'll be graduating in radiation suits lest we get infected by the plague or something. Admin has got to get the clue that yes, we are swimming in a festering pool of microbes; but that hardly means we need 3 lectures on *washing hands*. Immunology's fine so far, but we're all bracing for the worst.
