Apparently robberies are happening more frequently these days, and well, I guess I really ought to be afraid but there's always this inherent thought of "not me", regardless of how close (location or otherwise) to me it happened. But of course, atmospheres are nearly always contagious, and I'm therefore invariably caught up in the brouhaha of keeping safe, cautious, alert, etc in light of this situation.
A problem, really since it means keeping the windows shut before I get to bed. And if the weather keeps going on like it is, I'll most likely be steamed to death before I could get robbed.
Either way is not very appealing to me, but owell I suppose losing a few stuff would beat drowning in my blankets anytime soon.
Classes today were somewhat okay, but everyone who spoke seemed to be afflicted with longwindedness, and of course a day is never complete without our microbiology lecturer going all "oh please guys, don't kill me, I've lectured you guys on this before" on us. Never ceases to amuse me. Even the next lecturer (a nurse, as a matter of fact) was thoroughly enjoying her own voice, but at least I was reminded that nursing week's starting in a week! Can't really say I'm excited about it, but I'm pretty sure a lot of screaming an complaining on part of the nurses working there would come my way.
Back to studies, with less than a month before the next examination, time is too precious a commodity.
