Post absent yesterday due to writer's inherent lazy streak. Hospital postings were decidedly a huge waste of time, since no agendas were given to participants. Naturally, aforementioned students would spend half the time wandering around wards flipping through the patient's records under the impression that things would somehow be better by doing so. If anything, the closest thing possible to an interaction with the nursing staff would be tonguelashing for being a hinderance to the duties of the staff. Which, for the record, did not happen to yours truly btw.
Ultimately, camwhoring and generally bumming around proved to be much better an activity compared to talking to patients who are too sick to respond anyway. Students are then required to write a report on what was learnt throughout the visit; a purpose which would have been apt, should the students have done something.
...
And today, being the first of April, and the day in which I do not have anymore hospital visits, was rather boring. So boring, in fact, that I managed to cover nearly half a discipline (pathology) in less than a day.
So much for a change of pace >.<
