Notice how I skipped yesterday's post--it was simply because everything was pretty much the same routine on a Sunday: sleep, church, back, sleep. The only difference this week was the fact that Monday was not such a drag, 'cause it's a holiday.
Happy Deepavali (sorta).
Woke up (as always on a holiday) at 12pm to a phonecall from my mum; apparently one of my grandaunts have moved to the other plane. Truth to be told, I was rather ignorant of her condition, my sentiments before receiving the news somewhat bordering on apathy. And contrary to popular belief that I have not a shred of humanity in me, I DID feel somewhat sad, but I guess there is nothing I could do anyway since I was stuck (still am) in my apartment. So maybe I hardly spent time with her, but I could recall times when I did rather vaguely--it still is better than nothing at all.
Aside from the news, nothing much worth mentioning happened today. As much as I would love to go into details, I am pretty convinced that nobody would be interested in stories of me re-arranging the furnitures in my room or how long I spent studying today.
Even Animeslut was locked up in her room today, God knows what for. (cue "Lemon Tree" playing in the background)
Dinner was only slightly less uneventful; Animeslut and I decided to have ours in Sri Petaling and I brought her to a restaurant (Capri Cuisine) that I have been eyeing for awhile. The restaurant turned out to be a place she once came with her Weird Lolita Friends (WLFs)--for the uninitiated, Animeslut has the tendency to dress in frilly, lacy costumes a la lolita occasionally when she hangs aound her WLFs.
What's more, she even called them over to have dinner with us!
Thank God they were dressed normally this time around. The dinner was awesome as well, though a tad pricey in my opinion for such small portions.
Went grocery shopping immediately after that, and I stocked up on foodstuff; my instant noodle stock was depleted anyway. It was when I got home that I discovered I overstocked on shallots, which means more wastage.
Note to self: get a shopping list the next time.
