I am begining to think that my memory is failing these days--take yesterday, for an example. I was supposed to hand my papers in for the loan I was applying for to get into medschool but I slept over it instead. Fortunately I managed to hand it in today, or else I would be mightily screwed; to be exact screwed by RM150,000.
And that was not all.
I was on my way for lab sessions (typical of me, I was late) when I realized my lab session was on the day before. I have, for some accursed reason, slept through the whole thing at home.
And then there's the fact that I've absolutely forgotten about updating my blog at night yesterday, a seriously unforgivable act if you ask me--especially since I wasn't even busy last night.
Well today was fortunately less riddled with lapses of memory on my part. I did not miss any classes, as boring as they may be but the lecturer certainly did for one class--he was apparently stuck in a traffic jam; meaning to say a whole hour of (possible) sleep wasted. By the time the second lecturer came in, half the class already left to pursue less trivial matters and even less actually concentrated on it. The topic of "Attitude and Health Education" never appealed to many people anyway, including me. I spared a few glancing moments vaguely peering over my DS/artblock to look at the lecture slides, but acheived nothing aside from a semi-completed artwork and a few completed stages in my game.
The papers I missed passing up on the day before was rushed as soon as the lectures were over to the officers and this time around I thankfully did NOT miss out on any documents, 'cause we all know having to fork out a 150grand more for medschool fees ain't cool. I immediately rushed back after submitting the bucnh of papers to catch a badly-needed nap (which is strange, seeing how I slept relatively earlier than usual). Animeslut, having clubbed the night before was naturally KOed as well. (she returned at 4 am).
We later returned to Uni to meet up with our "buddies", seniors assigned to help out the juniors in any manner deemed fit. My buddy was rather plain-looking (his face could very well be a sack of punched potatoes), but he looked like someone I could trust nonetheless and for that I am glad. I could add that he certainly looks like someone who could provide good tutoring, but that's me judging a Louis Vuitton by its price.
Dinner was McD's with my sorta-cell group from ACTS. It was a great distraction for the night and I enjoyed their company as usual. Went for supper later with them as well before coming back to blog.
Tomorrow's gonna be great. I'm trying to stay positive.
