"Ya know, age doesn't really matter when you're 19 and legal" --Benjamin, on dating older people.

Just a little garble of words that spilled out of the little orifice I'd like to call my mouth today--only God knows what on Earth it means. But again, I have gotten ahead of myself so let's start from the begining of the day, shall we?

And so I woke up with a furious itch on my crotch at 3~4a.m. due to an insect bite (again, don't ask me how it got there)--an affliction which, I must stress, will persist throughout the day. I'd consider that my personal thorn in the flesh for today.

Of course, not being the one to have his sleep interrupted by such trifling matters, I continued sleeping peacefully (minus the wild, irritable scratching). And the day, being a Monday, (and by some corollary is bound to be a bad day), I would feel as though I had 2 minutes of sleep before the darned alarm went off; or Mei Yan knocking on my door (which happens within the few minuts of each other).

I shall spare you the details of the morning preparation, but cue a typical Monday morning with 5 minutes left for class and you'd get a decent picture of this morning.

As always, we entered 2 slides into the lectures--seats were scarce today, and some dumbfucks took our usual place, so we had to look for new places.

Ah, two solid hours on Autonomic Nervous System. How inspiring. I was, of course, referring to the notes I took during lectures--I amaze myself sometimes at how fast I can take notes (and include diagrams all within the milisecond of the lecturer's pauses). The lecture hall was typically frigid; most of us were dressed up in winter clothes as we entered.

2 hours of lectures done, and we have meetings. I, of course had my Music and Performance club meeting--and it looks like we will be performing again this Thursday.

Yipee.

I chose to break the monotony of my life today and decided to have lunch with my other social circle: no nicks this time so we have my bestest friend Bala (I was forced to call him Devan on campus), Adrian--my buddy from the ozzy, Esther--well she's deep, cant even put a description on her, and lastly Stephanie, one of the hottest girls in the batch (but she was absent today since she's still on her way back from China. hmph.)

Today's lunch sucked somewhat; the curry noodles were okay I guess but the little feathers on the chicken in the broth was not about to win any prizes in my opinion.

And for the first time in my life, I went to the library.

Allow me to reiterate.

I went to the library and made a conscious effort to study. Today. For the first time in my Uni life. Duration of studies aside.

So we sat, and we read and we chatted but half the time was spent mostly chatting and for me, finishing the Midnight's Children I purchased less than a week ago. The random quotation as seen above emerged roughly within the period as a response when Esther was talking about her 29-year old boyfriend-thing and Devan, being the ever green (and occasionally unreasonably dumb) buddy exclaimed "but he's 29..!". I pity his naivety at times, but I admire that somewhat. Sometimes.

Was scolded by Mei Yan sometime later for not having her tag along during my excursion and was labelled a nerd for a good 5 minute or so. We went out for a tea-break, during which she talked about her case-study group which, according to her, was being idiotic. I couldn't disagree less. Also, she likened my act of going with another social circle to treason, and I am told that I am labelled a traitor during lunch by queenslut. (There is resonable reason to believe queenslut and Esther had a fall-out from beinf BFFs to, well, not speaking to each other).

She told me that if I were in Gossip Girls, I would be SO dead. Trust Mei Yan to compare my life to that of a TV series--one which she got me hooked on, nonetheless.

And now here I am, stuck in a 12'x9' cubicle of a room after a pitiful meal of nasi lemak. I find my current condition rather bland, personally--I would rather be out now, but then again, my wallet would not allow me so. And we have the dreaded PBL session tommorow. God bless me.

Ben out.
