Breaking Point.

Notice the abscence of a post yesterday: the job of an orientation officer, it seems, is not something to be taken easily. Waking up earlier than what one would to train the juniors in first aid, and then skipping meals and staying on campus all the way up to midnight is only half of the pain.

And then there's the inherent danger of losing my voice and sanity, whichever comes first. And keeping the group morale up as they themselves experience the very same exhaustion--well, that's just not easy. Throw in the fact that a few members of the orientation group have had their car broken in and belongings stolen and that's pretty much a breaking point for any normal being, officer or junior.

But I'm surviving. And keeping my hopes high--it's just too early to burn out.

I guess my seniors left me a pretty huge shoe to fill up.
