Weekend=fail

When I signed myself up as an orientation officer I certainly did NOT expect getting orientated myself, what since I'm a senior myself. Obviously I was under the wrong impression, if the absence of a post the previous Friday were an indication. Don't get me wrong, though--it's fun as heck (not to mention flattering *winks*) to be an officer, but not so much so when it I have to actually participate the very games I have hoped to avoid when I signed myself as said officer (which brings to mind one of my less noble motivation: to watch the juniors suffer while I remain unharmed).

But the commitee really outdid themselves this time--a horror movie before treasure hunt at night? Genius. A decent one, too, if I may add. But of course running about like a group of rabid dogs looking for clues and ransacking the gym wasn't my cup of tea--more so when the clues are not there. (and the fact that I need to use the gym sometime later). And then there was waking up early  in the morning the day after the night hunt for yet ANOTHER treasure hunt!

Seriously, now. Who in their right minds would want to run about in a park barely a few hours after already doing so the night before? Apparently we would. Jonny's face (one of the fellow group officer who have was on-duty that day) when asked to do 30+ pushups just as he arrived pretty much summed up the whole day.

Tiring week, this was.

Lectures? Bah, I'll focus on staying alive while keeping the group afloat for now. (yesIdoattendlecturessopleasestopaskingmeifIskiplectures).
