Waking up a few minutes before the alarm actually rings can be one of the most unfulfilling things one can do in a day. Just imagine--waking up knowing that you still have a smidge time left to sleep only to be jolted awake 3 seconds later by the surprisingly annoying sound of alarm. Guess you just got to accept the fact that the circadian rhythm screws you over at the worst possible time.
And knowing the fact that there will be classes (and PBLs) waiting ahead makes getting out of bed all the more difficult. I never really got why the classmates loved the pathology lecturer to begin with--sure, he doesn't suck as much as some, but he definitely ain't that good either. Needless to say my thoughts strayed off ever so often during said lectures--as always.
Later had a meeting with the M&P (Music & Performance) club to discuss some matters about the transition of power and the likes of that--while it proved to be much more occupying than lectures, I again ended up having to do quite a significant portion of work.
Which I have completed in less than 3 hours thereafter, even before the secretary could call me to remind me of the job (superworker much?). Early work was never this satisifying *smugs*.
PBL was meh, lights went off during the first half of it and the facilitator ended up giving us the learning issues for this week without much discussion. Yay to lazy/bored facilitators. Yay to afternoon naps. Nay to mugging and bad dinner thereafter *dies*.
