You know you're assimilating into the life of a campus student when you acquire the nonchalance associated with skipping classes and the ilk. I know I have, which is unsurprising, really, seeing the crowd I hang around with.
But then again, lab sessions are hardly anything one would look forward to the first thing in the morning. And sleep justifies all reason to skip one measly lab session, I reckon. Friends are of course indispensible assets in this scenario, since they were the ones covering my behind.
For all its worth, the lectures for the day literally put me to sleep anyway--the first one's barely tolerable, and I actually slept after the first quarter of the second lecture on pharmacokinetics, woke up after 5 slides, and stuck my earphones in for the remainder of the lecture. He wasn't bad, really, but hardly anyone understood him. Even afternoon study sessions did little to help on my part.
